GameHosting was started in September 2009 because we wanted to offer better service to the gaming community but also keep costs as low as possible. Having used many gaming companies over the years we know the problems which users encounter and wanted to show it is possible to offer a first class service at a reasonable price.

Anthony looks after the business and financial side of the company, with years of experience of the computer industry through running Aztek Technologies he is able to instantly utilise any new technology as it becomes available which gives GameHosting the ability to provide the best servers at the best prices. He's always ready to help with any support problems you may have.

Dave maintains the website and support for GameHosting, he has a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Birmingham and has over 10 years experience with running and maintaining servers. If you have a technical problem with the website, control panels or servers then he's on hand to help.

Mike makes all the images and other artwork for the site, he can also be found playing Minecraft and testing any plugins people have problems with.

Alex is our newest member of staff and works on the technical support side, he plays lots of games in his spare time and is a fast learner getting to grips with all the games we host.

Hardware

All our servers use the highest quality components and latest technology. Minimum requirement spec is shown below:-

• Intel® Xeon® X3450 (Quad Core), 2.66Ghz
• DDR3 Memory
• SATA, 3.5-inch, 7.2K RPM Hard Drives RAID1
• Windows Server 2008/R2 x64

We own all our servers so this means we have total control over the hardware.

We believe in putting the customer first so we don't overload our dedicated servers by putting too many game servers on them in order for us to make more money or offer lower prices. This means the servers aren't constantly under maximum stress and minimises downtime from hardware failures.

Network

Our servers are based in Maidenhead on the outskirts of London ensuring that people from all over the UK as well as mainland Europe get good pings. The network we use has been independently rated by SpeedTest.net as the fastest network in the UK, and third fastest network in the World*.
