How long has gamehosting.co.uk been around?

Judging by the forums it looks like you have only just started up. New startup game server providers are 10 a penny and close after a couple of months all the time.

I want to order a BC2 server, but only from a reputable GSP. Is this the case here?

How many servers are you actually running right now?

We've been around since September 2009, you can read about that and other info on the About Us page. Most of our contact with customers is via live chat on xfire/messenger which is why there's not much activity on the forums

The fact we are an EA/DICE authorised host should answer your question about whether we're reputable or not. We own all our own hardware and have just invested over £5000 in new dedicated servers so we plan on being around long term. We're also head sponsor of Eurodomination.net so I assume they believe we're reputable.

Including new Bad Company 2 specific servers which will be ready shortly we will be running 10 dedicated servers but obviously this is growing all the time.

Did you change your username before or after posting? If you changed it after then it will only update on new posts, if you changed it before I will have to look in to it.

Any idea what kind of admin tools we will get for the servers? I know rcon wont be available but apparantley some other admin tool might be about....

There will be remote admin tools developed by the community, it hasn't been decided yet what kind of access other than that will be allowed. There's a post here about the remote admin interface giving a general overview and I've seen this tool already which is being developed called BFBC2 Admin. Hopefully they'll be reasonably straight forward as the BF2CC ones were a bit over complicated.

You'll also be able to execute remote admin commands from the game panel on our website.
